Ottieni indicazioni

Although the deed of foundation of the church was drawn up on October 2, 1666, work began in 1669 and still in 1709 the completion of the dome continued. The Church, with three naves, has a basilica plan with a transept and dome that divide the nave and presbytery.

The rhythmic succession of the naves is punctuated by five round arches that rest on columns made of stone ashlars and covered with polished stucco, later stained red; the squat red marble columns mentioned in Giuseppe Tomasi's Leopard.

La Madrice, is dedicated to Maria SS. Del Rosario and commissioned by the famous Jesuit architect Angelo Italia. The Church, with three naves, has a basilica plan with a transept and dome that divide the nave and presbytery.
